Remember this URL: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/dodge.htm. You're going to be needing it soon.

I appreciate your concern, but a few second brake stand is not going to kill my transmission, its not like I'm doing neutral drop burnouts, thats when you grenade the internals. Towing is harder on the transmission than a brake stand. People also said towing vehicles with my Neon would kill the transmission too (probably sooner or later but I paid $100 for the car who cares?) and that car has 252,000 on it and still going strong with zero slips and not a fluid change in 90,000 miles. I credit it to pure ATF-4 not the Dexron crap people think they can substitute in a mopar trans because ATF4 is $5-6 a quart.

I've towed many vehicles as well as my sisters matching Ram with my Neon prior to getting my truck and thats a hell of a lot more abuse on that little Neon tranny than a little old brake stand will do to that Trucks transmission. I towed her 4x4 Ram Sport 30 miles over hills with my Neon at 55mph (I needed that speed to get over those hills) and the worst that happened to the car was the exhaust itself got so hot it burnt a hole through the plastic bumper from 6 inches away lol.

Anyway, I paid $300 for my Ram in running condition, do you really think I'm the kind of person thats going to pay full price for a new transmission? I'd either rebuild it or get a good used one and rebuild that one. Life is meant to be lived and I could be gone tomorrow, so I'm gonna have me some fun in my Mopar Today.
