Default Abs and brake light are on

I replaced the frt brakes a few weeks ago, and replaced the frt tie rod and when I first turn the truck on no lights stay on, as soon as I pull away, botht he brake light and abs light come on and stay on.

Brakes works fine, fluid is good, nothing seems out of the norm.

What would cause them both to come on and stay on?

Does the speedometer act up, especially in the lower speeds, say 0-30 mph? If so, it will be the speed sensor on top of the rear differential.

Yes checked the fuses, it is weird because I can sit there in the truck for ever and the lights wont come on but as soon as I start driving they come on.

Very weird

The sensor is on the top of the rear diff. And the speedo does not always act up if it's bad. Also check the brake line running along side the fuel tank, it commonly gets pinholes that are hard to detect. You don't have 4 wheel antilock brakes do you?

You might want to add how to do that.
