Default 98 Ram 2500 12v cummins no start!! Help

A week ago I started to have an intermitant problem with the air bag light. Now it just stays ON. Shut the truck off now, no start. Jumped the solinod still no start. Thought the ecm was bad got a rebuilt one, but still no start. Thought it was the ignition switch because with the key switch in the on posion the accessory leads had no power so I changed out the igntion switch, did nothing! next step i was thinking neutral safty switch?

If you flip the shut off solenoid and crank it over by jumping the starter, it should run.

Just remembered, I've had neutral safety switch connector to fall off twice, there really isn't a single locking tab to hold it in place. So that's something to look for.

Airbag light might be related to a broken clockspring.

Well I appreciate all of the responses, I’m just at a spot where I wonder if I should stroke it or just go to the 12v Cummins. The stock 360’s feel gutless and I’m just wanting a little more push when I get on the throttle
