Default intermitten wiper speed

I have a 2001 Ram V6. The intermittent wipers work, but no matter where I set it at the intermittent speed is the same. The low & high thing still works great. Any ideas if I need to replace the switch or is it something else?

Probably the multi-function switch in the column.
You can buy one at the dealer, or autozone, and install it youreself.
It's not too hard.

you likely have no power on end of dash fuse (maybe 9 or 13 labeled power windows or power locks). it sends power to the CTM which controls intermittent wiper timing. without that fuse, they wiper delay is at the fastest setting, which is a pulse about every 1 second.

i went through hell on that one and there's some long drawn out troubleshooting posts on it. cut straight to the chase - check/replace those fuses, even if you don't have power windows and power locks.
