We love to help out but when it is difficult to read, hard to understand....it usually gets passed over. Write in a professional manner and you will get honest helpful advise. Write like an 8 year old and expect grief, along with the honest helpful advise. Take your time. Use proper grammar, capitalization and punctuation. They do still teach that in high school, right? Don't take offense. You have to understand there are guys like me who troll this forum all day long looking for opportunities to help someone out but if we get cross eyed from trying to read what is written, well, we usually just pass over it and hope someone else will chime in. There is a lot more to be learned around here than just trucks. Not sure how old you are, but you will not be able to get away with writing like that in the professional world. Or for college applications, job applications, etc. Sorry your friend could not stick it out and try to fix his truck and I hope you stick around and contribute to this forum. There is tons and tons of great advice, years and years of experience. Great forum.

Yeah i understand i usually use correct grammar all the time, but i was in a hurry. I apologize. But it takes a lot to bother me i work with older guys at work. I'm a mechanic and i learn something new every day. For everyone thats 20 like me or younger. Listen to your elders they might seem bossy or cranky but they are FULL of knowledge. Trust me. Thanks everyone.

Not so. My father is 83 years old and can't figure his way through a bologna sandwich -- but he'll tell you exactly what's wrong with your vehicle, every time. He's always wrong, but gawd ammit he's been working on cars since before your daddy was born!

It doesn't matter how old you are: Know what you've learned and NOTHING more. That's the secret. Know only what you've learned and nothing more. When you bump up against something you don't know, at least admit it, and preferably go learn about it. Read books.

The guy down the street, your buddy's dad, some random clown like me on the internet? We're all full of crap. Go learn some stuff. Read some books.
