Default Swooshing sounds?????

OK so it's running pretty good(even with no o2's!). But when I start it up for the first time I get this swooshing sound. Runs fine but it's weird.

The only thing I can think of is the air filter housing has a small break right where it meets the throttle body.

Anybody?

Possibly the TPS, or throttle position sensor.

It only does it at startup. Then the more I drive it goes away.

I wouldn't worry about it if there are no driveability problems

Mine's noisy when cold too.
Even worse if I haven't driven in it a few days after rain or cool weather.

Is this like a high pitch noise or low sucking noise. I know my intake loves to make noise when I start my truck.

It's more lower sounding. Like I said my air filter housing is cracked on the bottom and it doesn't have a gasket either.

Need to get that gasket. If it's not cracked too bad you can probably repair it.

hissing and swooshing is sort of normal sounds for fast/cold idle. its the large volume of air going through the IAC port.

Any chance its the fan clutch? have you checked it? It moves a lot of air and makes lots of noise.
