Default 46RE Front seal, Part Number is wrong seal ???

99 Ram 1500, 318 RWD. I bought a front seal for my 46RE Tranny from AutoZone before removing the tranny and when we got it out the new seal is too small. I took the old seal to the parts store, Oreilly's, and they crossed the part number on the seal to the same size seal Auto Zone sold me. I drove 30 miles to the same Auto Zone and they took the same part number from the seal and from Rock Auto .com and the numbers crossed to the same wrong seal. Rock Auto shows the correct dimensions of the seal but what they're selling is not the correct seal. My choices for parts are NAPA, Carquest, Oreilly's and AutoZone. As anyone had problems getting the correct seal??? We went thru every seal they showed in the book and physically looked at every seal they had in stock and nothing matches. 46RE front seals shouldn't be this hard to find. Just shoot me.

seal p/n 4531225. We creased the seal right at the first number and the best we can tell it's a 4 possibly a 1 but I believe it's a 4. That number at AZ crossed to smaller seal. Rock Auto's SKF P/N 18508 crosses to AZ's 331228H. Dont' recall Orielly's number. Outside diameter should be 2.628", Shaft is 1.875" and width is .375"

Go to a local tranny shop. They will probably sell you the correct part.

Tranny shop, yeah, that's the ticket. Just not on Saturday or Sunday. Oreilly's has the correct seal they just didn't know it and neither does their books. Auto Zone doesn't have it and their books are all messed up.
