headers to cat leaking
well first off im now here. so the cat went on my truck and it collapsed and i couldnt make it home because of soo much restriction. so i cut the cat off and ran open headers home (i know its not good for it) and i got a cat from my dads 97 ram 2500 van that he blew the tranny in. so i used 2" flex pipe to connect the headers to the beginning of the cat..
the issue is, where i cut the header, its right on the bend so the pipe is almost like an egg shape at the bend. following me? well since its not perfectly round and its smaller, how can i get that end to stop leaking? i tryed to clamp the flex pipe really good but it still leaks.. maby stuff something in their? a **** load of RTV? thanks guys

First, welcome to DF!
Second: That flex crap won't last for long so close to all of that heat anyway. You could probably get an exhaust shop to bend up some pipe and do it right for under a hundred bucks.

either -
take it to a muffller shop and have them weld it back up.
get a new pipe from junkyard, jeggs offroad pipe, etc.
cut the pipe back to a nice round straight piece and go forward with new sections.
update your signature or upper right area with your truck info.
