I deserve that ..I have even been told to check it but&Ill be honest here sdidn't think that it separating@brushing was the issue thought the bar itself had to move...I think that's where my shaking came from...the slop?could it cause it?
But after replacing it (tracbar) I'd still look at the gear box.
anyways figured out it wasn't leaking

Just ran it to an off road shop&they said the steering box seems fine...that my track bar is bad&that my timing cover has a small leak....So can I just replace the bushing that is loose or do I have to replace the whole thing?If I can get away with just doing the brushing Id rather do so seeing when I did the shocks & tie rod sleeves

Since I'm keeping my '96 Ram 2500 4x4 as long as possible, I replaced my track bar with the aftermarket track bar and conversion mount made by these folks:
