Sea Foam
Do not add any additive to a auto tranny. but on the seafoam brand, the stuff is a great carbon killer for after you repair the plenum to clean the valves and all.

I have put some Lucas in the tranny, but not Seafoam. I did put some Seafoam directly into the intake via a vacuum hose. Wasn't really having any problem, just thought after 166,000 miles it wouldn't hurt. Still running fine.
I know most folks don't like adding additives and I understand, but I like the Lucas products.

I put a bottle of Zmax into my transmission. A friend of mine got a hold of a bottle and never used it. So out of sheer, morbid curiosity I dumped it in there.
A little over 25,000 miles later and no harm seems to have come from it. However, I didn't notice a damn thing different after putting it. Waste of (his) money. LOL
Other than that, I won't and don't put anything in my fluids, oil or gas. That includes any of that Lucas crap.
