Default '01 1500 front brake pad clips

I feel like an @ss, but there are two clips that are on the bracket for the front brake pads. Theyre different from one another. One is solid and the other has notches cut out. Im doing pads and the clips were opposite of each other side to side.

Which one goes toward the top???? The solid one or the notched one??

Nevermind. I figurd it out. Where they mount on the caliper bracket, they are different lenghts, so they are supposed to be opposite. I feel like a dumb@ss. Oh well, live and learn.

Thing is, is they are opposite of eachother. Therefore I didnt know which way was correct. Then I accually looked at it and noticed where they mount was a different length which matches the caliper bracket. As I said, dumb@ss moment.

Do we need a "I feel like a dumb@ss" section?
