change your pcv valve, replace your filter, while you have the filter off, get a flashlight and look down the throttle body for pooled oil

ok one more problem I found is that sometimes it doesnt just start right up. itll start but takes a minute. Will turn over just find but bog out almost. Then if I turn it over again itll start right up. Whats this a symptom of?

Turn the key on, but don't start it, can you hear the fuel pump running? Let it sit in the on position till the dummy lights go off, then try and start it.

Looks like I got a bad truck. Kid said he did the exhaust and I just asked him if he put a new cat in and he said no.... freaaak.

Yeah for 2300 thats a pretty good deal... And PLEASE put better titles on your post.... If they are Well I just bought a truck.... Or HELP!!! people are far less likely to respond FYI... Just something to remember next time!

Had the cat checked and its fine, maybe the power issues just seem there cause of the oversize tires? They arent that oversize, not sure how big they are though. 17 inch rims. Shifts a little rough, and theres a wobble when I get up to about 70. Thats the problem though this truck is having issues getting up to 70. I guess Ill have to check the plenum when i get a chance.
