1996 ram 1500 Grinding Noise from Front
shortbed with the 5.2L engine. Just trying to figure out what is wrong with it. When I turn to strong to the left it grinds, wheel bearings were changes out before I bought it, obvsiously wasnt the bearing.

It would help us help you if you post some specifics on your truck besides the engine size and bed length. How many miles? 4x4? Lifted? Tire size, etc. Many things can cause your symptoms and you need to help us my providing as much information as possible. The we can help you.
Could very well be driver side ujoint or the unit bearing install was botched. This in lieu of checking the other stuff mentioned already.
Pictures go a long way....
Also...change the damn thread title to something that is pertinent to this problem.

Ok, the noise is just the wheel rubbing on the frame, I can see where its nice and shiney where it rubs lol. 17 inch rims. Havent checked the plenum yet, and the heater core is cracked, can smell radiator fluid when i turn on the heat.
Edit: Nvm guess this is normal

Pulled the air filter, seems oil is coming in from the valve? Looks like the previous owner just flipped the filter around after it got a little bad. What could this be a sign of?
