Default yet more lift questions

What's the best way to gain a few more inches...price was..I have a 2.5 leveling kit& a 3 inch body lift.I thought about doing some 2500 coils or bigger front spacers &some blocks in the back. But I know it can't be that simple...Im guessing Im gonna need some longer brake lines &control arms idk is there anything I can get away with...also is it just an optical illusion or what but single cabs always seem to look like they sit higher then club cabs with the same lift&tires. Also is there any good pic threads for our trucks lifted?

Anything you would need to know about lifts has been discussed on pavementsucks...and here on DF.

Can't go over 3 inches of suspension lift without longer trackbar/bracket, control arms, sway bar links/bracket, different pitman arm, and shocks. Brake line brackets may need to be relocated, don't need longer ones until after 7 or so inches.

For the front 2500 coils and the spacer will give you approx 5in of lift. Can't remember if anyone makes 5in blocks for the rear...id recommend keeping your oem 3" blocks there and adding a 2" add a leaf. And again you'll need those components above, they can be found on any site that sells suspension parts and lifts and whatnot.

Reg cabs sit higher because of the lighter weight of the cab.
