Default V10, Man what power...

I had the chance to pull for the first time with the 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab 8.0L V10 pick-up that I purchased last November. It has a 4:10 rear end an Automatic transmission. It replaced a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Reg. Cab with a 360 5.9L V8 pick-up with a 3.55 rear end. You were right, there is no comparison. This truck pulled our 7000# travel trailer and did not even blink. I can't believe the power this thing has. I would not trade it for anything. It has just over 55,000 miles on it now and it will last me a long time. I purchased it with just under 54,000 miles on it. I love this truck. Thanks for all your responses....

Yup v-10s rock. I had a chance to drive one and man it was nice. It was nice right up until I asked my friend his gas milage.... I guess i dont feel that gas is a good value anymore. It takes the fun out of owning something as cool as a v-10. Of course Im not the richest man on earth... That could be some of the problem.. But yes i agree v-10's are nice.

I agree! [8D]

And they get even better with intake/exhaust mods (the stock motor has a breathing issue [:'(]). And by "better", I mean much more fun to drive
