Default Some Shocks + Steering Stabalizer Questions

I'm looking to get some new shocks since mine are wearing out. I normally go to 4wheelparts,autoanything, or ebay to look for stuff. I think i narrowed it down to Ranchos,Skyjacker, or Tuff Country ones. I don't offroad alot but i would like to alittle bit when i get bigger tires.

I'll be getting 2.5 inch leveling spacers for the front and adding an inch or two on the back so would i have to get 0-3 inch shocks or hows that go? I looked around the forums before i posted this but i can't read every thread cause i only have 40 minutes in this class. :P

So i would like some that would give me a better regular ride and offroad ride. Here's some i found:

http://www.autoanything.com/suspensi...A2642A0A0.aspx

http://www.autoanything.com/suspensi...A6472A0A0.aspx (Just found these, but not sure of them)

I'm on a budget so i don't want to spend a fortune on these. I would like to spend under 150 if i could for all 4. I also looked around the forum and i heard nitrogen shocks are better than the hydrogen ones but could someone back that up?

As for the steering stabalizers... I would like to get dual skyjacker ones for the front. What do you guys think?

from experience of using them all. fronst stabil get the skyjacker, i was very please, better build, and the way they mount are the right way compared to how rancho does it. as for the shocks, you cant go wrong with skyjacker, i have rancho and they rode stiff, the bilsteins 5100s i had after them were the best i have ever had. as for the lift questions, if your only going no more than 3" you will be fine with whever you get, not until you get over 3" do you need to start gettin longer shocks. i never had a prob with mine till i got to 6-9" of lift on the front.

I've ran those Skyjacker Hydro 7000 for years, and just recently put on a set of Zone Offroad shocks (basically the same) I liked them a lot not really for offroading but for handling. Hydro shocks work both ways, push and pull. Vs traditional shock work for push but, automatically pulls out on its own. So going around corners my truck has very limited leaning. Almost sport car ish. Because all the shocks are working in tandem, one side resisting pushing in, the other side resisting pulling out.

Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it. I found them Zone shocks on eBay for like 160 shipped btw, but I wanted to do alittle offroading when I get my 33s so would them skyjackers shocks/stabalizers be able to handle that?

Alright cool but should I get the shocks that say for 0-3" or 2-3" of lift since I'm getting 2.5" spacers for the front and 4-5 inch blocks for the rear?

Either ones there both are rated up to 3" of lift. For all intended purposes anything under 3" of lift, factory shocks could still be used.

Sounds good. I'm leaning more towards getting the skyjacker setup then. I found some more skyjacker shocks and another type of stabalizer which i added in the first post if anyone has any info on them.

Anyone else have any more input?
