Default High Flow Cat?

The stock cat makes my truck to quiet and doesn't let my flowmaster do its thing.
I need the cat on there for emissions but I want a louder sound.
Will this CAT let the sound flow better?

I've got a magnaflow cat on mine, with flowmaster duel out the back, it's not super loud, but has a nice put you to sleep rumble at highway speeds. I guess it depends on how ear deafening you want your truck to sound.

Mine has a decent deep rumble at idle, but anything above 1000 rpm is a bit of a drone. At 60-70mph its a deep hum.

I know its the cat because it was just as loud as it is now without the muffler. The stock CAT is so long and thick (what she said) it really dampens the sound.

Im almost wondering if maybe 2 Cats off of each manifold would be better?

I was also looking to get a high flow cat to make it somewhat louder. I just wasn't sure if the claim to making it louder was true.

Its not even so much the loudness its the fact that it muffles my flowmaster. It annoys me so much.

Yes a high flow cat changes the sound and makes it louder. Also depends on what flow master muffler you have be it super 44, 10 series, 40 series etc.

Fix your plenum.
Replace your 02 sensors, then worry about the cat and your noise.
