Terk XM Direct installation

I'm planning to install the Terk XM Direct tuner along with the adapter for my alpine stereo into my 2001 Ram QC.

Any good tips on where to install the tunner and adapter?
Any good tips for where to mount the antenna and routing of cable for it?
