Band adjustment?

I just got a 96 Ram2500 4speed automatic. I want to change the trans. fluid and adjust the bands. I have a cheap Chiltins that gives the steps, but what I want to know is what tools should I have on hand? I have the torque wrench but what else should I have? Open ends, extentions,sockets?
Thanks for any help you have for me.
