Default Noises on heads after replacing valve stem seals.

Hi guys, I hope you can help me figuring out what happens in my truck. Last weekend, I replaced the valve stem seals on my 1994 5.2 truck, I put everyting back together and the truck started right, but I can hear some noises on the heads, on the driver's side head, after I turn the truck off I can hear like a cracking sound, I guess it's the lifters, then on the passenger's side head, when the engine is working, I can hear a ping sound, none of these sounds were before I took it apart.
Does anybody have an idea what I did wrong, the truck runs great, other than those noises.
Thanks for your help.

well the "cracking" sound you're describing is likely the exhaust cooling down. You said you only hear it once the engine is off, so nothing should be moving in the engine leading me to believe its the exhaust headers making the noise when cooling. As far as the "ping" sound....I wouldn't worry about it a whole lot unless it gets worse.

You might want to check the plenum gasket and make sure the cat is not getting clogged, which will cause excess heat back up in the exhaust manifolds.

Thanks very much for your answers, I want you to hear the sound, I took this video after turning the engine off. it actually sounds worse in this video. The truck like I said runs pretty good and it did not do these noises until I replaced the seals on the valve stem. The engine makes this sound even if it has just worked for a few seconds. the ping sounds is gone. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have more probs. And just so you know, they are called valve stem seals. Not "stem valves".

Oh, ok. I'm sorry for the name written wrong, English is my second language, I'll correct it. For the truck, I will save money to get a different truck, as this one has way too many problems, it's time to get rid of it, I'll donate it to PBS.
