The first time you full your dash it shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, and only 45 minutes once you know what you're doing. You'll only frustrate the hell out of yourself trying to install a new dash cap without pulling the dash. You may eventually get it done, but you will be much happier if you just pull the dash.
