The steering boxes are known to be not so good. Theres a diy in the faq/diy section to adjust the box.

Check the steering box and the intermediate steering shaft joints for play/slop. I'm planning to replace my steering box and intermediate shaft with Borgeson units this weekend, as my truck is doing the same thing and I've already rebuilt just about everything else on the front end of this truck ('96 Ram 2500 4x4).

My truck is doing the same thing. I had my wife turn the wheel while I was under the truck and noticed that all my grease fittings and bushings were bad.the only problem i'm having is my truck says its a 2500 but my steering, brakes, and suspension all show to be a3500. So i'm lost on what parts are for what truck.I've only had it for a month add its a 99 4x4. The Haynes our Chilton manuals are no help even my engine isn't in those books.

You should get one of these, http://www.dodge.com/wccsapp/univers...ull&category=U

And will you please add ALL the info about your truck to your sig AND profile.
