I still have a set of used SJ D50 5" lift springs $75 plus shipping.

 

I agree with getting different coils, I got some 3500 diesel coils (pretty sure they're the same as 2500s) for $40 from jy... I did have to use spring compressors though

 

I sealed a deal with dlyter last night for his 2500 springs and shocks...

And my 4bt makes it squat another inch maybe? the frame mounts are close to where to stock ones sat. It pretty much added another 200 lbs on the front end I figure. Plus it sits a couple inches off the crossmember so it inevitably made the ride a little more top heavy too. But at the same time its not enough that I have noticed while cornering or stopping for a red light.

Looking forward to see how much more clearance I get!

 

Are those pretty stiff? Would they fit my application? Right now there is a "6" rough or tuff (sorry can't remember which now) country lift on my truck with some spacers in front and the truck sits a little nose high totally unloaded. Your springs might be just they ticket to level it out and ditch the spacers. What do you say man?

 

The SJ D50 springs are for 1/2-3/4 gas trucks, no they don't ride hard at all with the right shocks that is. So what you have 6" coil spacers? I would say they are the ticket for you, kill two birds with one stone. They have seen two winter's so they need a good sanding and new paint. i can take pix if you need to see them.

 

I was more worried about them not being stiff enough. I have a fairly heavy camper to keep stable.

Looks like the spacer measures right at about 5". Sounds like adding your springs as is wouldn't really change ride height which wouldn't be bad either. I could also cut them down a little if I wanted.
