Well since my swap, my drivers side mount is too close to the front differential. I have bounced it off the top of the pumpkin a couple times now.
Makes me ABSOLUTELY cringe and grind my teeth!!!!!!!![Icon Rant](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_rant.gif)
So. Options are pretty slim, either remount the motor or lift it![Icon Crackup](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_crackup.gif)
That being said, how much have you guys been paying for spacers vs new coils. I am also looking into used 2500 springs too. I need a couple inches to clear the rubber bumper for the axle/frame.
Whats the best route and where to go for spacers? Seems like theres a ton of options out there.
--Also whats the going rate to rent the coil compressors?

This is where I got my 2" spacers from, they are very nice especially for the price. I believe coils are gonna be around 180 ish or so. The last spring compressor I rented at autozone was like 50 bucks.

That seems like a good price, thanks for the link
I was wondering about the compressor![Big Grin](https://dodgeforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I posted an ad for diesel springs on cumminsforum and the best offer I got was $200 used lol. That was original plan. Thinking now that maybe I stay with the 1500 springs and hope to keep the softer ride (not by much lol)

I'm glad you're considering 2500 springs over spacers for your setup. I was trying to look up the weights of the engines and can't find, but I recall the cummins is like another 200-300lbs? I just recall its a good chunk, which makes the right springs much more appropriate. Handling gonna be a big deal on top of clearance/contact with the differential. I'm guessing you don't have ready access to junkyard/picknpull?
Anyways, not meaning to nitpick and just really hope you don't go with spacers on top of 1500 springs.

Not the best reference as can't tell what springs to engine for all of them.
