New exhaust
X pipe to Y pipe is for use of O2 Sensors dead center in the middle of the exhaust stream.
Hemi converters by the way are so much larger then my previous converters that in order to have everything fit, I needed to custom make an extension with a built in H pipe that would bolt up to my headers.
I had the option to make custom parts with scrap or to just weld up the old X pipe to save some time; However redundant it may be, this will do me justice...
And yes, the birds sure do enjoy molten iron pellets as much as anything else; Bon Appetit.

I'd have made a bigger mess than that if I were the one doing it.

So long as it doesn't leak and most of the monstrous looking welds face upwards where nobody can see, why spend the time grinding that hard a$$ stainless material used for making welds.
