I used to wonder how people ran themselves over with their vehicle. Invest in some jackstands? Glad you survived your trouble shooting

The oil pressure sender is a known good cause for an oil leak on chrysler stuff. We've replaced a few on 5.2 grand cherokees that the customer swore was a rear main leak.

But a pinhole in the filter will definitely do it too. What kind of filter? Since Subaru switched to Allied Signal (coughFRAMcough) from Purolator, the dealership I worked for saw a few bad filters out of the box.

The oil filter was on too long.
