I have installed the overhead console in my truck (02 2500 HD) and the outside temp sensor is of course not there. I have the sensor but there seems to be part of the harness missing. I believe it runs from a plug beside the hood light to the grille where the sensor plugs in to it at that location. Trouble is I can't seem to find that harness. Dodge parts book list a part number of 56021994AB "Temperature sensor jumper wiring" but I don't know if that is what I need. Dealer no help. I assume he is looking at the same parts book I am. Does anyone know if that is the part I need? Also where under the dash is the other end of the harness from the light?
