i have just swapped out the trans for a reman unit. went to start it last night,an it started right up without issues. ran for approx 2 mins. and started stumbling,and shut off on its own. tried restarting it,cranked for approx 5 sec. and it restarted,ran ruff,for a couple secods and shut back off again. now it wont start at all. checked for spark and i dont have any. checked coil wire to the distributor,and dont have any spark their either. checked the codes,and it throws code 32 which relates to egr vavle/circuit issues. im thinkin though that the egr issues wouldnt keep the truck from running would it??? maybe just a bad coil ??? thanks.

p.s. checked the wiring around the trans swap. nothing out of the ordinary... thanks again

 

i checked the wiring to the coil also,i dont have any power in those wires either.... im kinda lost now....

 

Did you remove the crank sensor before uninstalling the tranny and reinstall it after the tranny was back in? If not, it is most likely damaged.
