No, maybe I should have. The nerf bars bolted up into a cup looking like thingy with a threaded hole for a bolt, I doubt the nerf bars were factory so I figured they were just for the nerf bars? I dunno.

I've flexed that truck like crazy and nothing ever moved...

Um.

Most nerf bars bolt up to the body mounts....just going by my experience with my truck and my dad's truck, which both have steps.

Yup. I don't see how, if I've got 4 body mount bolts out, the cab hasn't moved all over creation.....

If I'm not mistaken, there are only four body mounts. Unless they changed in 01....which is possible. You should still take a look at that.
