I just put a used engine with 99,000 miles in my 2001 dodge ram truck it has a 3.9l v 6 engine....runs awesome but has a rattle noise that sounds like marbles bouncing off each other....the mechanic said it may be valves but they all make that noise....has anyone had that problem before?

Runs awesome except for marble sound is contradiction.
Read end all plenum sticky at top of this forum. Not every sound is the plenum plate though, I've had very bad clattering at part throttle from a defective coil.
