Default 46re Need help

Ok I swapped a 5.9 and 46re in to my jeep tj the Trans is a remand unit.
When I first started the jeep I took it around the block no problems at all and never when over 20 mph. Then had it towed to an exhaust shop when I went to drive it home everything was good and strong for the first mile then nothing just went in to neutral. I could rev it and nothing at all. Then i shut it down for a min or two started it back up everything was fine except for the trans was making a whining noise like a low power steering pump then within a min or two right back to neutral. Trans fluid levels are good.

Any one got a clue on this?

i know it's not a dodge but i just need help from someone that know this trans.

Did you check the fluid when trnas was in N? Checking in D will give you a false reading. Also needs to be warmed up to normal operating temp...

The project took so long I didn’t get it in before it expired.

No check valve I read on here all the problems with them so I never installed one when I build the jeep.

so is it time for the tranny shop or would a new TC and maybe a new pump work?
