Ok so looks like i can get a pair of
Spyder Headlight - Clear Lens, Plastic Lens, Performance - Projector, Dot, SAE Approved, Composite, Direct Fit, With Bulbs
1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500

SPYDER HALO LED PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS, CHROME HOUSING, CLEAR PLASTIC LENS, SET OF 2

for $182

you guys like a chrome housing or a black one (im usually a crome guy but the black ones on this truck might look pretty bad a**)

How bout looking under the hood and see if you have the empty bulb sockets hanging there. Each side has a 9007 lowbeam and 9004 highbeam. Hopefully the previous owner didn't destroy the factory wiring harness.

Black would be my pick for colour, me I would just put the stock Sport housings back in. They work great, one of the best lighting upgrades I have done.

Check out AMAutoparts.com for better pricing on stock housings. I got both, with side markers, for under 90 bucks shipped. They even came with bulbs.

The Sport lights are great when they're not fogged up.

So +1 to this.

Yeah..but that wouldn't add anything to the look lol and those black ones look so mean...me likes..but if you say its a better upgrade i gotta believe it and with the price Heyyou stated its a much more affordable option.

...I would like to make the daytime running lights stay on with the highs and lows though...previous owner had them half a$$ wired to the passenger harness and a stock splice in the bumper was bad...i rid myself of the shotty tie in and fixed the splice.

I read another thread about jumpering the relay location in PDC but it was said that was just for running them with the highs.
