What's not shown in the link or any for that matter is the other support arm that goes to the steering box bolts. It's a well made part most of it is 3/16 steel and the bottom plate is 1/2" thick. Pix to follow.

incidentally, my dual steering stabilizer setup also looks like its rough country compared to this image...which would make sense...Previous owner claimed it was Professionally installed...it was probably a whole Rough Country package..big bang for the buck.

I gotta say though, so far the rides not bad at all...Rough Country is real popular among jeepers too.

Not the best pix as it's pitch black out, but I think it will help.

Brrr cold...I didnt know you were gonna run outside to get the pics...thats canada eh! I can definitely see how its superior, it was nice to see the additional support bracket...bottom line is you said youve got a 5" suspension lift also and its been working trouble free for you so that speaks volumes.

its curious that the support bracket runs out to the steering box...in my head that seems off, i would think more support would be needed to protect against lateral forces in which case coming back toward the cross member but ah well doesnt really matter....that tuff country bracket definitely has more beef and again its been working so nuff said.

Thanks for bravin the cold to get the pics!

baily, do you have any plans for future mods? For instance, changing up axles, going taller, etc.?

Does fabrication peak your interest?

If none of the above, then my recommendation (and its not strong by any means) would be 3rd gen conversion (like HeyYou stated) or DT Pro Fab.

If you're not planning anything for now, then I'd go as cheap as possible right now (moog) to get ya by. As an example, I'm swapping out my D44 for a ford HP60 axle and I'll be reusing my existing Tbar (with mods) or making one complete from scratch.

Just my in addition to mercs.

I dont know about going taller but I love fabrication...first things first though..i wanna make sure she runs good, eliminate known weak spots and potential fail points so i can depend on it as a daily driver and then move on to the fun stuff.
