I started getting front suspension shaking again and last time it was my track bar so i investigated it and it is in fact the track bar. I went to Oriellys and got the Moog replacement with the beefier ball joint that is so highly reviewed. got the old one off with out any issues and went to put the new one on and the ball joint is to big for the hole. has anyone else had this problem?

im thinking of just drilling the hole out to make it fit but that seems a bit dangerous....

 

Well, first it should be a tapered hole, so you need a reamer instead of just drilling but lets see if anyone else has any input..

and that moog bar has been mentioned in it also...might be nice have you post your issue there too for others to find it.

 

+1 it is a tapered hole. Make sure it's the right bar for a 94

its the DS1413 all of my google searches say its for my truck i will look into that thread as well thank you for the help.

 

I took the part number and did a search. Amazon carries it and i set the vehicle specs to 1994 Dodge Ram 1500. It says it "does not fit" your vehicle.

Parts store may have just messed up.

Going to Moog site shows your same part number and another one

This 2nd one does have smaller stud size.

 

also last thing is did they change anything on the models to 2/7/94 compared to the models from 2/7/94? looking around online this is pertinent information with my model year
