Awesome. Glad to hear you found the problem! I know I had stated a valve train issue earlier

Wait so German vehicles have sensors that tell you when a valve spring breaks? Hitler thought of everything!.

Somehow I have so much trouble believing that a broken exhaust valve spring caused this without dropping a valve or even running at all.

If you thought this truck was hard to work on, work on a 2002 Buick Century and come back to me, crush em don't buy em! they're junk!.

I see this issue on the chevy 5.3l all the time at the shop. They usually break the #8 exhaust valvr spring and will miss like crazy.

We had a jeep in the shop the other day that had multiple cylinder misfires. Turned out to be an exhaust spring on number 3 cylinder. Put in the new spring and no more misfires. . . Purred like a kitten.
