Can I replace my 2001 5.9 with a 2003 5.9? What mods will I have to make? Thanks for the help!!!!

 

iirc it is plug and play may need to switch over a few sensors though

 

I don't see why not, same motor, should be same everything else.

 

i didn't know any vehicle still used a 5.9 magnum in 2003, are you sure? i thought all the dodge's had moved to the 4.7 by 03.

but if so, check that the intake and all sensors are identical. move anything and everything that's not the same from your 01 to the newer motor.

 

03 was the last year for the engines they just used up what they had left from 02 but i think a few sensors were differnt due to the new computer setup in 03
