front leveling kit - steel or neoprene?
I just put my 2.5" HBS leveling kit on a weekend or two ago. I got the swaybar drop brackets but i don't think i need them. But it put my front end up alittle higher than the back which looks pretty nice i think. I never made a before/after thread on the leveling kit yet though cause pictures don't do it justice. I would like to get inch bigger blocks in the rear so its alitte more even but I'll put that money toward some nice 33s.
You can return them and get refunded.
I tried to convince him beforehand to not buy the brackets... he didnt listen.
Lol i know you guys did. But i also had some other people say about buying them plus the company mentioned about when putting the 2.5" spacers on I'll probably need them. If i can send them back, I'll just do that then.
I have a skyjacker level kit and I love it. Comes with longer coil springs and some beefy lower trail arms that are greasable. I wouldn't go with spacers. Imo do it right and don't mess with spacers or blocks or any other cheap quick fix b/c that's all your gettin is a cheap quick fix. But that's just my opinion lol.
Every application differs what you're going to do. One is not clearly above/below the other.
FWIW, ever wonder why ppl say skycrapper, skyhacker, etc.?
I'm not ******* you on your choice, however, it's arguable on the "do it right" path when the context (rig use) is left out. Most would agree in the grand scheme to do it right over compromising something. Spacers do not compromise things in general to 2.5" as they don't require any other suspension/steering changes, ergo cost factor.
Some people may not know of leveling kits like what you're running and honestly I haven't when control arms are changed. Are you sure it's a level kit and not a 3" lift?

For the $65 it cost to put in 2" all steel spacers from hell bent steel, I have no complaints. I have never heard of anyone else having problems with 2-2.5" spacers over stock springs either. Is my truck a competion rock buggy? Not quite. Has my truck been used off road? Absolutely. Nothing wrong with a good set of spacers over stock springs.
