I have an 01 dodge ram 1500, and the 4x4 light wont turn off when its in 2wd. When i first start my truck will be off then i start driving and it will start flashing then it will stay on. another thing is somewhere around my motor when i hit above 55mph it will make a noise. It feels kinda like its cutting out. and if i give it more gas then it starts to do it alot more. Sometimes it will do it so much it shakes the truck. hopfully yall can help me out. its kinds hard to describe the last problem. Thanks

you either have a malfunction in the indicator switch, which is on the end of the CAD on the passenger side front axle, or you have a weak or missing vacuum on the 2wd vac line to the CAD.

Thanks. the 4x4 light actually went off today. but it was on for about a week. its kinda weird. ill have to check then out tho. ill have to get back with you once i checked it. but tha.ks again!
