Kool-Vue Tow Mirrors on a '97
About to pull the trigger on a set of tow mirrors for my 97, however am a bit confused. It seems that Kool-Vue sells 2 different types of mirrors for our trucks; a 6-pin style (for 98-01 trucks) and more recently a 3-pin style (for a plug-and-play replacement on 94-97 trucks). My confusion is how the 3-pin style (Part # DG66EL and DG66ER seen here http://www.ebay.com/itm/350680690299...=p5197.c0.m619 and http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230886029920 ) is advertised as a heated mirror when all 3 pins are required for mirror movement. Heated mirrors weren't offered until 98 as well. Are they wrongly advertised? Every website I have searched says they are heated which isn't quite making sense to me. I'd like to make sure they are heated because I'd like to wire in manual switches.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
