98 318 #2 miss fire
i was doing a compretion test and i broke the plug wire for #2 so i replaced the plugs as tsb stated and i still have a #2 miss fire i cant figure it out at idle its fine but at hard acceleration it misses like crazy cel is saying #2
Replaced the plugs? Or plug wires?? (I would like to think both...)
What did your compression numbers look like?
If you have replaced both, but still have a miss, swap the injector with #4, and see if the miss moves with the injector.

i only did the plug wires i changed the plugs last month
the compretion numbers were 160 on all
i was wondering if the coil could cause these problems? and it is definatly geting fuel i swaped the injector with 4 and still had #2 issue

It wouldn't be a bad idea to put in a new cap and rotor. If the #2 plug on the cap is burned up that would cause a miss. But like previously stated switch the number 2 injector with one on the opposite bank
Noid light? That will only tell you if the PCM is trying to fire the injector, it won't tell you if the injector is actually injecting gas though..... the swap is a sure test... so, leaves that out.
If compression is good, and fuel is good, that only leaves spark. Coil doesn't care which cylinder is firing, if the other seven fire, then the coil isn't the problem. May be crank sensor.... but, only dropping one cylinder makes me wonder about that.....
