I have seen these instructions posed here before, but...

These instructions say to ground Pin 1, but the schematic in the instructions says Pin 1 is not used. So which Pin should be grounded to tell the system you are "ready to reprogram?" I do have the Service Manual so even just the name or function of the correct Pin should get me there.
