Default 1998 ram 4x4 plenum gasket?

Hey guys im going through oil like crazy but its not puking blue or anything like that so im thinking plenum gaskets am I correct?

Probably. Mine STILL goes thru oil, even after doing the plenum, but, it only smokes for the first half mile of the day...... Take a quick peek down your throttle body, chances are good you will see pooled oil.

I have 0 smoke thus far, thanks ill have a look im certain thats what it is. Now it also starts a bit rough but it not due to the starter or alternator could the plenum be the reason? Im going to change the plugs and wires at the same time as plenum. Recommend doing anything else? Cap and rotor?

This topic has been discussed to death and you will find all the information you could ever digest if you look at the top of the thread section. I believe it is titled The plenum end all thread. By the way , what does an alternator have to do with starting characteristics? If you intend to do the plenum plate and gskt you will be changing alot of parts and they can all be found listed in the thread I mentioned.
