Its actually a 7/8" nut and i was able to get at it with a wrench but i had to cut the wrench down into a stubby. I originally planned on deleting it but forgot the to bring the stuff with me so instead after removing the egr tube from the manifold and exhaust i cut the tube in the middle, flattend it out with a sledge and then folded the end over a couple of times. I would have just put it back on but the tube was bent in such a way that i could not get it to meet up on the exhaust manifold correctly, so this made it a whole hell of a lot easier. Later on down the road i will just plug the egr valve hole on the manifold, which can be done with just quick steel stick.

It's bad for your engine. Would you like to connect a tube from your exhaust port to your intake?

I just used a short crescent wrench for that nut for the egr. 6 inch crescent worked great. got it from the top of the engine. took some time but better than snaking my arm up there. Once I got it off, I unbolted it from the header and slid it out of the intake so I was able to just lift the intake up and out. Pretty much reverse process for putting it back on.

Well I don't mind going from the bottom. I've done it 2 or 3 times haha it doesn't take more than a minute or two.

i don't think i will have a problem getting a full size wrench on mine. if i do i got 2 sets of stubby wrenches. if i have to find another tube at some point in time i would probably find a ram van to take one out of so i can just take the dog house off and there it is.
