Help!!!. No start problems.

Default Help!!!. No start problems.

Ok im in need of help, 99 ram 2500 5.9l Gas (360)!.
Truck runs great i parked it let it set for 2 days went to start it just cranked and cranked no start,
we are getting fuel and spark and air just a no go
replaced the cam sensor, and crank sensor still no go getting spark from distrubitor and plugs someone HELP!!!.

Hit it with some ether, see if it fires.

tryed that and nothing, just keeps cranking, is there a way that moisture and water can get into my gas?.

If it won't fire with ether, you either aren't getting spark at all, or, it is too weak to ignite it, or, you are lacking compression. How does the engine SOUND when cranking?

this is an age old problem !!!

change your Idol air control valve !!! back of TB two hex screws!!! this ACV valve will make this happen to your truck

also be more specific do you have spark and gas coming to the engine?

yes i have both i have gas and spark coming to the engine coming from the plugs and distrubitor and from the coil, and when it cranks its real fast, i herd that its possible for the timeing chain to jump when it is has been sitting in cold weather with high miles on it, is that true

dough your chain skipped, check your idle air control valve clean it if it needs cleaning and try starting again. it might be as far gone as mine was, when these go bad the engine wont even start.

Cranks real fast? Do a compression test....
