96 1500 front dana 44 ?
Yea I did.. Am I just missing something? Wouldnt surprise me since I am medicated heavily..
Edit: OK I read over it again.. Forgive my ignorance.. Meds are taking a toll.. I thought the OP said from a front axle on a jeep...

On what jeeps is that? The OP said out of a wrangler non rubicon... Yes the 44 was an option in the rear on most jeeps wranglers except the X edition.. To my knowledge all of the fronts were a dana 30.. Not trying to argue would just like to know.. Pretty sure they were all 30's.. And if I am not mistaken the 4 cylinders were all 30/44 set up with 4.10 gears... Now the 6 cylinders were 30/35 setup or the optional 44 rear.. Gear ratios were between a 3.07 and 4.10.. My jeep had the POS 35 in the rear and I hated it untill I swapped it out with a 44 I snagged from a buddy..
but just so you know the 4 banger yjs did have 3.07 with a 30/35 combo aswell as the 4.10 30/44 combo
6 cyl always had the 30/35s witch i have in mine untill i put my 1 tons in
