Those are basically 33" tires. 4.10's work rather well with those. (close to stock RPM/MPH relationship) Gears aren't cheap, but, neither are tires. Probably came with 245/75/16's from the factory.
hmmm. i believe the gears are stock. not sure if they are changed. i will check what kind tho. the tires are pretty loud. like mud tires too.

Well either go back to stock size or upgrade to 4.10 gears. I run the same size tires with 4.10's and I love them

I wouldn't say your trashing your trans with 33's on 3.55 gears, really depends on your driving habits to some degree.

MPG's might be taking a hit, upgrading to 4.10's would be nice, but as already mentioned they aren't cheap. Around $1200 installed I think.

For what it's worth, my tires are just under 32" and I run 3.55 gears, I usually see fairly good mpg's when I'm calculating.

Let the truck get moving easier. Less strain on the trans. Pretty much takes the truck back to stock form kid it had stock tires. Gets the powerband back to normal

That sounds better I think. Do I need a new rear diff for this? Is there anything that I need to mod to make this work?

No need for a new rear diff, no mod to make it work.

Buy the 4.10 gears for the Chrysler 9.25 rear and take it to a shop to be installed. There is a lot that has to be perfect and if you've never done it before you don't want to attempt it.

Unless you gots lots of money

Check the Yukon add link on the right. Prices look reasonable and they have a wizard that pulls everything you need so there's no guess work.
