Yes.....

4-6 hrs labor for the front diff same for the rear plus parts. I suggest you call a few shops and get labor rates before you get all gung-ho on this work.

That's what I would do, back to a 265/75r16, but keep your eyes open for used diffs say 3.92 or 4.10 out of a off-road edition truck. Then buy the diffs cheap and swap them out yourself.

If you want to get the best MPG you need to have stock size tires.. Look on the door jamb to see what is on the little sticker.. And buy them sizes..

Best thing that helps gas mileage is not getting on it. I actually can cruise all day if I don't beat it from the line and just grandma it. But as all of us 360 Magnum owners know, its kinda tough not to punch it once in a while!, really unless my gf is in the truck distracting me with a deep conversation and her beautiful eyes I'll probably be pounding on the truck and not being a good boy.

Back in October me and my GF cruised 175 miles on $30 of gas (9 gallons of gas I believe it was), and that was mostly city driving!, but I was being very nice to the gas pedal and we both kept commenting how great the truck was doing that day for what we put in the tank.

All in all I treat the truck as my Hot Rod, My Neon gets no less than 300+ miles off of 10 gallons regardless of how I beat it, so $20 in the truck every now and then is what I've been doing with the intent to pound it.

Gas mileage tips,

Check Tire Pressure

Tune Up (3923 Autolite Plugs,Wires, Cap & Rotor, new air filter/cleaned filter) The 3923 plugs are a colder range than the stock Champions, they're $14 for all 8 at Wal Mart and thusly will reduce ping, improve power and mpg (if you're not beating it). Mopar action got 10whp on a Ram with these plugs (chassis dyno proven) and confirmed all of the above^ against all the common platinum plugs & popular plugs champions,NGK & ect. As well as another Performance company also confirmed their findings about the 3923's. I gotta say in my own experience that at least over champions and the NGK's I've put in these 360s, The 3923's have been the best. They're cheap enough to at least give a try.

Confirm you have a good plenum gasket or replace it.

Confirm your Distributors Fuel sync reading. (Kind of an advanced technique, no pun intended).

Check all vacuum lines under the hood for cracking or deterioration.

Check if Catalytic Converter is clogged

Not as common of a problem...but make sure your gas cap is the proper one, these are pressurized systems and the wrong cap or overfilling your tank can affect pressure in the charcoal canister by overflowing gas into it and ruining gas mileage by ruining the vacuum differential going into the canister from gasoline being actually in the can, not just its vapors like its supposed to consume for emission purposes, but the engine will also suck that gas via vacuum out of the canister and burn it back up in extreme cases.

In the long run a nice sounding free flowing exhaust will probably hurt your gas mileage because you'll want to hear it all the time lol. But on paper it should help reduce engine stress.

Each of the things above could make a huge difference in gas mileage if two or more is wrong with your truck, for some its the difference between driving the truck and not. 1 mpg loss here and 2 mpg loss there adds up!.

If I had a steady more full time job I'd even go as far as to say that I'm blessed with the mpg I'm getting in this truck!. Mine will catch 17 on the highway.
