So just a little update, still have a slight *whateveritis* around 2k, it is less noticeable with the BW Solenoid though.

And maybe the most important observation, it WON'T shift funny when it's cold. It shifts perfectly until everything gets all warmed up, than I have that issue...

+/- 25,000 miles on a rebuilt 46RE, not too bad....
well that might explain why you only got 25,000 out of it

Gotta see what it's capable of!

Actually I have an update too, said before it didn't shift weird until fully warm, which is true, BUT even at fully warm if I start off in 2nd, it doesn't shift funny at all.

There was slight oddness before in 2nd with the stock Governor Solenoid, non with the BW Unit in 2nd.....

hows the fluid condition? the new soleniod bought me about 8,000 miles before the tranny failed me anyway so it may be helping flow but other things can still be plugged. You did change the filter right?

Fluid was clean, there are pics of the magnet and fluid a page back, no I didn't change the filter, I did a fluid and filter swap when we moved back to Georgia, roughly 4 months prior to this work.

Fluid looked good, so I reused the filter...

Stock Governor Solenoid and assembly were clean and unclogged too.

So here's an update. New solenoid and pressure sensor didn't fix the problem.

It hasn't gotten any worse, but hasn't gotten any better either. It's the same...

Adjusted the TV cable today, went out for later & firmer shifts. Finally got to test drive it, the glitch is MUCH less noticeable, it almost isn't.

OD shift kicks in at 60MPH, truck has much more power under the pedal, and the shifts are SMOOTH, I mean I can barely feel them.

So far I'm happy
