Default 01 Ram Lifted Leaf spring Options

I have a 01 Ram 1500 currently lifted with a rough country 5" lift kit, witch uses a 4" block to lift the rear. I already had a 2" spring spacer on the front before the lift so after lifting the truck was un level so to fix this I added another 2" block in the back. So in total I have 3 blocks on the rear, the 3" factory block, a 4" block and a 2" block, for a total of 9" of block....I do not like this set up.

I'm looking for some leaf springs to place on the rear to replace some of these blocks but after an hour or so of searching I can't find much, has anyone here done this, or have any lifted leaf springs they would recommend. Skyjacker seems to be just about the only option, they have a 4" lift witch is the dr54s, and the dr56s is confusing as some sites say it is a 6" lift witch would be awesome but then on the same page it says its actually a 2" lift.

The drop shackles is a good idea I didn't think about that, has anyone used the 6" dr56s skyjacker springs, and do they actually give you 6" of lift? There only a few bucks more than the dr54's but they also say there only a 2" lift in there specs page, i'm guessing that may be with removing the factory block, but do you have to remove that block? I'm hoping to get the dr56s and keep the factory block to keep my same height, but before I spend that kind of money I wanna know i' acutally going to get the height I need

I now see your confusion. Summit lists the DR56 as providing 6" of lift with factory block.....2" without; weird way of advertising. Best to give SkyJacker a call in this case. Most sites look like they advertise them as 2" however.

Superlift.
Their biggest suspension lift (I think 5") comes with new springs. Superlift is a pretty good company too.
