Default rock solid ram install to tight

So I installed the rock solid ram steering parts on my 01 dodge ram automatic, went in pretty good no hiccups, was tight sliding the bushing onto the steering shaft but it went on, not all the way to the lip but real close, anyways i took it for a test drive, its a little too tight and the gear shifter slightly moves with the steering wheel, do i need to take it off and sand it down or do you guys think it will break in with driving a while, thanks for any info

No need for break in. I suspect it is not installed deep enough.

Go back to their website and watch the video (hope it's still there). Tight working room is biggest hurdle.
